If you follow my Instagram or any social media you would know we have just got back from our first trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando! We went for 14 days for our honeymoon and was honestly had the best time ever. As it was our first time going there was a lot that we learnt and we would do better on our next trip and be more prepared! We also went to Universal Studios, Island of Adventure and Universal's Volcano Bay so if you are just doing a trip to Universal I'm sure most of this will also apply.

1. Park Tickets
If you are staying outside the parks do not go through Disney/universal to book your tickets believe me. There are so so many websites that do great combo deals for the parks for a much better price than the parks are offering you. We booked our tickets through "Themeparktickets.co.uk" This was a really good website and gave lots of different combinations of parks all over Orlando. The package we decided to go for was 14 days for all Disney parks which included-
.Magic Kingdom
.Epcot
.Animal Kingdom
.Hollywood Studios
.Typhoon Lagoon
.Blizzard Beach
And also the three Universal parks-
.Universal Studios
.Island Of Adventure
.Volcano Bay
Along with the 9 parks we also got Memory maker included in our package which I would highly recommend whatever package you get. We had so many beautiful photos taken. For all 9 parks and memory maker our park tickets cost £500 each.

2. Fast Passes
If you are staying outside the park like we did, it isn't as easy to get to and from the parks as if you are staying on property so be cautious when booking your fast passes! As you have 30 days before your trip to book fast passes, (60 if staying on property) try and call or email your hotel your staying with and check with them about the shuttle schedule. This is something we didn't think about before and a lot of fast passes in the first week clashed with the set times of the shuttle or we're too early/too late. So don't book all your fast passes until you have planned how your getting in and out of the parks.

3.dress
when i say its hot in Florida I mean its hot! And its not just the kind of heat you'd experience in the Uk it is humid as hell and sweaty humid! This is something I wasn't prepaired for when i packed my suitcase was what on earth to pack. I had never ever been on a holiday like WDW before let alone a long haul flight either. So i went for the route of packing near enough everything. But honestly you don't need "nice" outfits at all becasue they are just not practical. I bought a lot of maxi dresses which seriously is a no lol. You mostly live in shorts and i think i wore a couple of short dresses but it really is just too hot to wear anything else especially as your on your feet all day. Comfort is key! Also Always Always Always wear a backpack! You might think you will be able to have a cross body bag but its always a mistake lol!

4. Food
Now I think this is something everyone struggles with when going to a theme park becasue everyone thinks your not aloud to bring your own food in, well you are! We were not on any kind of dining plan or any inclusive with our hotel so we were completely free to do what we wanted with regards to food. We would go out for breakfast everyday then stop off at a store and buy snacks to bring in with us and then go out for dinner when we got back to international drive.

5. Esential packing list
There are somethings for WDW that are just essentials to bring with you everyday that you might not even think about before. If it's your first time going you will usually find out what you need day to day as trial and error. Things that we brought with us on a daily basis was-
.Backpack
.Suncream
.Ziplock bags
.Snacks
.Camera
. Power bank

We had the most amazing time ever in WDW and i would literally go back tomorrow if i could. I recorded everything on my YouTube channel in Vlogs so if you want to check them out <3
