Over the years I have really messed up and damaged my hair and for about the six months I've really been trying and doing my best to look after it as much as possible. Even though it hasn't been that long yet I've already seen a difference after making these small changes. My hair has been more silky, getting longer and less greasy, here are some of my top tips that I've been using to help your hair! I'm not a hairdresser or a doctor in anyway, but these are just some tips that has really worked for me.

Shower with cold water and avoid daily washing
Hot water dries out skin and hair. Also, cold water can make your manly mane look shinier and your skin look healthier by closing up your cuticles and pores. Washing with cool water also strengthens immunity and prevents frizzing.

Use Products for your specific hair type
I have very dry and brittle hair and using a deep conditioner and oils on my hair has really helped moisturise and keep my hair really smooth and silky.

Avoid heat and use heat protection
Using heat protection spray especially on the ends of your hair has rally improved my split ends when straightening and even blow drying my hair. I have also been straightening and curling my hair as little as possible to try and save my ends.

Try not to dye your hair!
Since ombreying my hair I have hardly died it at all because I had to use bleach on it I wanted to try and get it to look as healthy as possible afterwards. Since then I have only died my roots once, and at the moment I honestly don't know what I'm doing with it colourwise, I just know I don't want to really dye it so my blonde roots are growing out fast but I'm kinda feeling it not going to lie lol! I've been using Touch of Silver shampoo on my ombred hair to take away the brassiness and to prevent me having to dye my hair to get it lighter.
