Booking The Holiday -
This summer me and my finance were not planning on going on holiday this year due to work commitments, studying, etc. (see my blog post - "Trouble in Paradise") We found a great website that offers amazing last minute deal packages for different holiday destinations. The site was called "pirate Holidays". http://www.holidaypirates.com/ This site isn't just for holidays, it's also for city breaks, long weekends, hotels and flights. After we found our Crete deal, (that we missed...), we started looking to see if any other deals would come up. We found an amazing deal for two weeks in Bulgaria in a four star hotel with flights and coach transfers included for £288! Now Bulgaria wasn't our first choice of where to go as no one thinks of it as a guarantee nice holiday destination, but after researching it up and hearing great reviews, for that price we decided to give it a try! The holiday was only two weeks away, due to the price we had paid for it. We went there having no expectations because even if the accommodation wasn't great we had still got a two week get a way for a very good deal!
"Premier and Prestige Beach Fort Knox Hotel"
We travelled there on June 16th and everything was perfect, the flights and the coach transfer all went smoothly just like any other package deal! And all this going well, we were very optimistic about our hotel. Then when we arrived the hotel complex was absolutely beautiful, with 7 or 8 different hotel blocks, two pools and a beautiful view of the sea. We could not believe our luck as we were admittedly worried about the site in which we booked the holiday, but everything was beyond perfect and more than we expected! Our hotel block was also brand new and absolutely stunning with a kitchenette, balcony and a brand new TV with English channels which is always helpful when abroad! We stayed in an area called "Sveti Vlas" Bulgaria which was a 10 minute drive away from the famous party town "Sunny Beach", which is where we spent most of our evenings. Sveti Vlas is more of a quiet area which is why we chose to stay there than in Sunny Beach, but because the bus into Sunny Beach was 1:50 Bulgarian Lev, which is about 40p in English, we had the best of both worlds. We were also self catering, but because of how affordable it was there to eat this really wasn't a problem. Personally I think I actually prefer this instead of being full board. Most days we would buy cereal to eat in our room for breakfast, buy some frozen things for lunch, like pizza or cook some pasta, then go out for dinner in the evening. We had a supermarket on the road of our hotel so this was also easy to access. I found it so nice to be able to eat when you want and when your hungry instead of having to wake up in time for breakfast!

Sunny beach -
Sunny Beach is the tourist part Bulgaria, notoriously known for its party strip and night life! We ventured into sunny beach almost every night either to eat, have drinks, look around, or even party! We found it great that we could hop on the bus to Sunny Beach and then come back to our relaxing hotel in Sveti Vlas and we had the best of both worlds!

Sunrise to sunset -
One day we managed to wake up at 5am to catch the sunrise and it was so amazing! It was so magical to go on the beach and listen to the waves first thing in the morning and we also got to see the sunset before we venture out!

Aqua Paradise, Nessebar -
We have made a tradition now that whenever we go on holiday we go to a Water Park as we both love rides and what better thing to do when its hot out than a water park! There was two different water parks in the area of Bulgaria we were in, Aqua Paradise and Action Aqua Park. We chose to go to Aqua Paradise based on how many more adult and more daring water slides. We had such a great day here and all the slides lived up to their expectations and the tickets were very affordable and easy to access once in the park.

This holiday meant so much to me as I really wasn't expecting to go anywhere this year and booking this last minute made it even more exciting. This was mine and my fiance's second holiday together and every year it becomes more and more amazing to travel with him and share our beautiful memories together, After such a stressful and crazy year we really needed these two weeks to relax and get our minds together and sort out what we are going to achieve when we get home. I love exploring new countries with him and having new adventures and on this holiday we certainly did! From water parks to nightclubs it was all so amazing in every way and it was a holiday I will never forget.
